I'm a slacker.
Sorry. This week was a "I don't feel like figuring out something cute to wear, so I'm wearing some boring shirt/sweater, my skinny jeans, and moccasins" kind of week. And that's what I did. Everyday. And it was boring. Yesterday's outfit was a little bit better... I wore a nice-ish top and cute earrings. What an improvement. :/ But then today! I went all out and looked very nice if I do say so myself. This guy in my math class asked if I "had an important day" because I was "all G'd up." Yes. That's what he said. And someone else asked if I was going somewhere, to which my friend replied, "No, she's just a freak of nature who likes to dress up for no apparent reason." She knows me so well. So yeah, great outfit today, but alas.. no pictures. Here's the problem: I go to school, then straight to the gym to run, and I never have a chance to take pics, because I don't have anyone to take them and I'm too self-conscious to find somewhere to take them myself. So there it is. Maybe I'll get dressed up again tomorrow and take pics of today's outfit so it will be documented. We shall see. If you made it this far through all my pointless rambling, then... congratulations. Or something.

Follow up.
Last night I wore the outfit, bow and all. The first words out of my best friend's mouth when I walked in? "Gah, Audrey." SHE CALLED ME AUDREY. She knows about my Audrey obsession, but she doesn't know about this blog and the goal to be like Audrey. If that wasn't an encouraging sign, I don't know what would be.

Wonderland.
My mom told me the tights were too wintry. I want to know who makes these rules and why I'm supposed to follow them. I think the cute dress balances out the tights. So there. And I just realized this week that these tights match this dress perfectly. Since I can't wear this short of a dress without something under it anyway, I had to bust out this outfit before it got too warm. This morning, I went and got McKamie and Caitlin and we went out for pancakes and to the early showing of Alice In Wonderland. I thought I was going to like that movie, and I was right. I didn't put my hair up and add the bow until we got home, but I think it pretty much makes the outfit perfect.
Now here's the dilemma: this morning, I was going somewhere that I didn't think I'd see many people I know, and I was with my cousins who I know won't judge me. So wearing this was no problem. Tonight, I'm going somewhere where I'll see a bunch of people I know, but I don't know really really well, and I just get the feeling that a lot of these people will think I'm a crazy person dressed like this. Little dress, tights, big bow. I hate feeling like that. I don't want to care whether or not people think I'm crazy, I just want to do what I like and tell myself, "They're just jealous." I'm hoping this blog helps me overcome that.
Oh, and I'm really not diggin' the black flats, but it was all I had to work with.

Yes, it's definitely here.
SPRING!!! I ditched my jeans this morning after my first class and changed into a skirt. It was so warm outside, I had to do it. I'm pretty sure I was the only girl at my college who decided to go bare-legged today, but that's okay. I'm just ahead of everybody else.
I love warm weather clothes so much. I think I'm more of myself when it's warm outside.
